BARC is a chapter of CGOA, the Crochet Guild of America, serving the East Bay Area of California. We meet monthly for conversation and crochet classes. At a typical meeting you'll find a Show & Tell of projects, followed by a demonstration of a crochet technique given by one of our members. Participation in these is optional. A few folks usually bring their own projects or just themselves. Your enjoyment is the rule. Here in the San Francisco Bay area, we are having a crochet renaissance! New groups have sprung up in San Francisco and the peninsula, and the South Bay Crochet chapter in San Jose has been going strong for years. It is possible to attend a crochet meeting almost every weekend. BARC enjoys a close relationship with its sister chapters. You can often meet many of the same people at different chapter meetings.
